I wanted to thank everyone who has visisted mom's memorial site. I am trying to add photos and stories as I am working through the emotions. Thoughts
I will always remember Karen's smile. The other day I was looking at her photo's taken at a ALSB Board gathering at my home. A number were of Karen and she looked beautiful. She was also so thoughtful and surprised me at a National Assistance League conference with a tote bag for all my brochures. She has been missed.

Remembering Karen and how she brightened my life many years ago. Back in 2011, I received a phone call from her. She was on the Nominating Committee for the Assistance League of Santa Barbara. I was shocked when she asked if I would accept being President in 2012. She was so encouraging, that I said, "YES." I found working with Karen and 15 other Board members very fulfilling. It was a special time.

Remembering Karen and her sweet smile. She was such a caring and loving person who is dearly missed. She touched lives with her involvement of the Assistance League of Santa Barbara. Mine included.
