Today I have lost one of the most important people in my life. Our relationship was not always perfect but if I needed her or she needed me we were there for each other. I wish her love, happiness and peace. I hope she is there for the ones that pass before me and together we will meet the ones after us. I will do my best to take care of everyone especially or family jewel, my grandmother. Grandma is amazing and taking this so well. She is someone to look at and marvel over. What strength it must take to hear your grandaughter tell you that your daughter has passed away. You know what she said, "Well she is no longer in pain. Now I have lost a mom and you have lost a mom, but I have lost a child now too." She did not shed a tear. She is a rock! So if nothing else, today I am sad but yet amazed. Maybe this day brings her comfort. Tonight she will not pray for mom but she will be able to speak to mom and tonight mom will understand her words of love for her child. I will never get over this day.
